Let Us Be Clear

I love love lucite things, they are elegant yet simplistic. There are so many things you can do with the material, here are my favorites:

1.) A lucite chest with gold accents, from etsy.

2.) This purse from Nasty Gal is beautiful, but I don't think i'd want everyone to see what's in my purse.

3.) I love the detailing on this chair.

4.) This lucite bracelet goes with anything, from shop bob.

5.) Is there anything more awesome than a lucite heel? From nasty gal.

6.) I would love if everything in my office was lucite.

Washi Tape Coasters

You can do almost anything with washi tape. It's a patterned tape made of paper, that feels like masking tape. If you don't own any you can find it at a craft store or Target. 

For this project you will need:

-white tiles

-felt pads

-washi tape (in complementary colors)

It's very simple. All you have to do is cover the coaster using tape in your desired pattern remember to leave extra hanging off the sides. It helps to use  a credit card to smooth down the tape.

Once you've covered the whole thing fold the tape over the edges. Cut the extra to be the same length and then fold the extras under. 

Put felt pads on the bottom and violà!

Constellation Decor

Ever since I made these zodiac shoes I've been hooked on anything to do with stars. I've compiled a list  of my favorite constellation decor:

Love Birds

  While thrift shopping (my main weekend activity) I came across this beautiful bird salt and pepper shaker set. I instantly feel in love with their detail and color. They add a dainty touch to any table.

  I thought they were the perfect way to bring my table into spring. Being both functional and beautiful makes them a must have home decor. 

They are so pretty I that I would have bought them even if they didn't have a purpose. I love elegant dainty pieces that are bit quirky. My one complaint is its hard to remember which on is salt and which is pepper.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

 Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of my all time favorite movies. So this spring I threw a small soiree with the theme of the movie in mind. We watched the film and had breakfast for dinner. Here are some of my pictures:

                    The Dog dressed up in his old halloween costume. Isn't he so dapper.

Decorative paper pompoms. They also are great for home decor.
